We want to share some background on a recent ingredient change. Due to global cocoa butter supply challenges, we made the decision to include “cocoa butter and/or rice bran butter and/or palm oil” as alternative fats in our recipe. This means that only one of these will be used at a time, but we recognize that this change may impact customers with rice allergies.
Our team took this decision seriously, conducting taste tests with members of the Free2b community to ensure we maintained the same great taste and quality. Rice bran butter, made from the outer layer of brown rice, was chosen as a sustainable option that provides a creamy texture similar to cocoa butter.
We completely understand that ingredient changes can be challenging, and we truly value your feedback. While we cannot guarantee the absence of rice bran butter in every batch, we appreciate hearing how this affects you and will share your concerns with our team.
